Sorry about the Haitus
The Steelwells hail from SoCal and bring a whole new dimension to the music scene, and they're getting noticed for it. Just this week it was announced the Steelwells are participating with 15 other bands in a contest, sponsored by Rolling Stone magazine, to give much needed exposure for one talented, up and coming group.
If the gadget thingy doesn't work you can also vote for them here.

Song of the Week: 3-9 Jan Colors
The best way I can think to describe Colors by April Smith and the Great Picture Show is addicting! Smith is a New York City based singer-songwriter that is beginning to catch more and more well-deserved attention. Smith's distinctive voice and catchy upbeat tunes build a very enjoyable listen, be it the 1st or 40th time around. As proof of her growing popularity she was listed in the Rolling Stone as one of “30 Bands to Watch” at Lollapalooza, and made the top 10 list of best pop music on Amazon.com. April Smith is definetly different from anythiong playing on the radio these days but it can't be to long before she makes it there and wins the hearts, and ears, of everyone who hears.
